Land, Memory & Resistance brought together community leaders, organizers, and advocates for a powerful conversation on the ongoing fight to protect Puerto Rico's land, culture, and communities. Hosted by V.I.P.R., The Bori Collective, Defiende a Cabo Rojo, and Alianza Mujeres Viequenses, this panel explored the impact of corporate land acquisitions in Cabo Rojo, the challenges faced by residents of Vieques, and the lasting effects these issues have on local families and future generations. Through personal stories, historical context, and community-driven solutions, the discussion highlighted the resilience of Puerto Rican communities working to preserve their homes, heritage, and right to self-determination.
